我が社では、今週月曜日に”SAFETY DAY”の行事を行いました。
ですが、余興にレディーボーイを呼んで来ているなんて、思いもしませんでした。
何せ、行事は地元スタッフが中心となって企画しています。
ですので、式次第の簡単な案内には無いサプライズが、必ずあるのです。
去年は、エアロビクスの先生を呼んで、模範演技をしてもらいました。
しかも、社長自ら景品を手渡す式次第が、おまけで付いています。
今年は、ドキドキでしたよ。
レディーボーイのお兄ちゃんたちがしなを作っては、受け取ってくれます。
しまいにゃ、なよなよして”ありがとう”って言われてしまいました。
ところで、これが日本だったら「全国安全週間」と言うところでしょうか。
厚生労働省によりますと、”産業界における自主的な労働災害防止活動を推進するとともに、広く一般の安全意識の高揚と安全活動の定着を図ることを目的として実施している”のだそうです。
一方、タイの場合ですと趣きが異なります。
消防、防災、健康の増進や予防までを含めた多角的な活動のようです。
安全に関るすべての意識を、国民全体で育むと言うものなのかもしれません。
と言うわけで、このような行事では必ずスピーチをしなければなりません。
もちろん、タイ語はできませんので、英語で喋るわけですが、自分の用意した原稿がまともなのか、いつも不安に駆られる道産子社長なのでした。

＜SAFETY DAY スピーチ原稿＞
Good morning, everybody,
Today, we are pleased to give any participant the safety day events.
Firstly, I would like to introduce our "SAFETY FIRST" record for how many man-hours we could operate our factory without any accident.
Present target hours : One million man-hours
Our current record : Six hundred fifty four thousand six hundred and ninety six (654696) man-hours
Our past best record : Six hundred fifteen thousand two hundred and thirty four (615234) man-hours
Last year, at the same timing we could only record the three hundred forty thousand hours. Compared with this, we already cleared our past best record and now we are renewing our record towards the target – One million, day by day.
This is our glorious advancement.
We would like to admire our continuous achievement positively and I also expect you can clear the target soon absolutely.
By the way, do you know the sign board location to show the record of SAFETY FIRST? It is stood up on the small garden in front of our main office. If interesting, please pay your attention to confirm it.
However, I have something nervous about our labor safety environment because I could have seen minor accidents such as electric shocks. The workers coming from the outside should be protected from any trouble at our site through the various temporary works for delivery, maintenance, construction, building and repairing.
Therefore, we must be responsible for our total working environment for anyone coming into our site and doing something. If we can ensure and provide the best one, I believe this concept can totally and effectively contribute to Thai peoples' better and safe daily lives.
